Silver-studded Blue Butterfly

This realtionship is so strong the Silver-studded Blue butterflies cannot survive without it and when the butterflies were re-introduced to Thurstaston Common surveys of the black ant population were conducted. Sandstone was placed throughout the area to create suitable places for more ant nests.
